For more than a decade, Act Fast Act Now has responded to disasters by mobilising essential relief materials and coordinating support on the ground.
During Cyclone Fani in Odisha, resources worth ₹5 lakhs were raised and 1,000 families were supported with food, tarpaulins, solar and LED lamps, mosquito nets, medicines, toiletries and water filters.
Relief and rehabilitation were also extended to flood-affected regions of North Karnataka and Kerala through food kits, tarpaulins and back-to-school kits.In response to Cyclone Amphan, more than 200 families in Kolkata received mosquito nets, solar lights and relief provisions.
Under Disaster Preparedness, medical and first-aid kits were assembled and distributed to families in Delhi/NCR.
