What You Can Request
You may request any of the following:
- Complete Account Deletion: Removal of your account and all associated data from our systems
- Specific Data Deletion: Removal of specific personal information such as name, email, phone number, or address
- Usage Data Deletion: Removal of your activity history and preferences
What Happens After Deletion
Please note the following consequences of data deletion:
- Your data will be permanently removed from our active systems
- Some data may be retained as required by law (e.g., donation records for tax compliance under Indian regulations)
- If you request complete account deletion, you will lose access to your donation history and 80G certificates
- Any active subscriptions or recurring donations will be cancelled
How to Submit a Request
To request data deletion, please send an email to:
Include the following in your email:
- Subject Line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Account Email: The email address associated with your account
- Request Type: Specify whether you want complete account deletion or specific data removal
- Additional Details: Any specific information you want deleted (if not requesting complete deletion)
Verification Process
To protect your information and prevent unauthorized deletion requests, we may ask you to verify your identity before processing your request. This may include confirming details about your account or responding from your registered email address.
Processing Timeline
We aim to process all data deletion requests within 7 business days. Once your request has been processed, you will receive a confirmation email at your registered email address.
Alternative Methods
You can also request data deletion through:
- Mobile App: Go to Account Settings and select "Delete Account"
- Website: Log in to your account, navigate to Account Settings, and request deletion
